Well, I’ll be glad to spill the beans about my new books in progress.
I’ve started writing a series called Inhospitable. The first book is called The Velvet Petal Hotel – I’m writing it as a sort of episodic TV series. Cue the trailer above.
Grumpy hotel critic Calyx (think of him as the Gordon Ramsey of hotel inspectors) travels the world trying to forget his sordid past, bringing his particular brand of harsh and often rude observations to nervous hotel owners. His assistant Ethan is with him, patient, sexy and very much his own man. They’re attracted to one another but neither wants to make a move. Whilst doing a review of a hotel in Romania, Ethan encounters a dangerous corporate group with secrets, performing illegal activity of dumping toxic waste. Can Ethan stop them before it’s too late?
romance, enemies to lovers, boss and employee, gay romance, around the world, ecological damage, Romania, Transylvania, danger, criminal, suspense, hotels, slow burn, friend attacked
The series so far is planned to be three books, the first one taking place in Transylvania, Romania and deals with a subject that in today’s modern world of plans to save the planet is very relevant. #lipsnowsealed
But wait! There’s more…
I’m also writing another series where I’ll be writing urban fantasy, romance, and adventure.
There will be some romance elements, because why the hell not, but this is more of a slow burn, and the focus will be on the adventure and growth of my fantasy world with characters you’ll grow to love. I’ll give you a little taste of what it’s about.

A town that shouldn’t exist. Two kings who won’t yield. When an unexpected town appears on Connor’s lands, fate pits two wolf kings—Connor and Julien—against the one thing they can’t outrun: each other. But they have a mutual enemy to fight, drawn by something older than blood. In Monarchs of Magic: Unveiled, opposites don’t just attract—they ignite. #MonarchsOfMagic #Unveiled #EnemiesToLovers #WolfShifters #MMRomance #ScottishFantasy.
Available early 2026.
I’d like to think this book will have everything you’d enjoy – romance, treachery, violence, redemption, angst, humour, quirkiness and a load of conflict. In bringing my unique vision to this tale, I hope to make you close the book, all starry eyed, and say ‘I can’t wait for the next one.”
If you do, my aim will have been achieved.
Oh, and I’m also writing a vampire series, but more about that later :)
